GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING FOR DAIRY INGREDIENTS
Introduction
Troubleshooting is a problem-solving tool in that it helps to identify the issue and then tracing that back to, and correct the faults, in an operational system.
It involves identifying and isolating the specific causes of an issue and the subsequent implementation of corrective actions to prevent the issue from re-occurring.
In order to perform effective troubleshooting, dairy manufacturers must have a good understanding of the composition and functionality of milk & dairy products, the equipment and processes used during manufacture, and lastly the analytical and sensory tools to help understand the problem.
