Danablu is a Danish blue veined cheese. At first the consistency is brittle and crumbly, but becomes spreadable as the ripening process advances. The colour is white to yellow with veins of blue-green moulds spread throughout the inside of the loaf. The taste usually described as sharp and piquant.
