DAIRY STANDARD AGENCY - GUIDELINES AND CODE OF PRACTICE ON MILK QUALITY

The Code of Practice for Milk Producers and the Guidelines for the Interpretation of Quality Problems in Milk serves as essential tools for ensuring  high standards in dairy production. The Code outlines best practices for on-farm hygiene, animal health, and milk handling, while the Guidelines help identify and address common milk quality issues. Together, these documents support producers in delivering safe, high-quality milk and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

The Code of Practice for Milk Producers offers a systematic approach towards compliance with food safety requirements at primary production level, and also addresses the minimum requirements for export certification.

The Guidelines for the Interpretation of Quality Problems in Milk works toward assisting the user in the identification of the cause of problems as well as the implementation of remedial action steps to limit the risk of recurrence.
